1. Using Meka

You may use Meka only if you can legally enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the activity that occurs through your account and for keeping your login details secure.

You must provide accurate account information and may not create accounts or use technical workarounds to evade usage limits, security controls, suspension, or other product restrictions.

2. Free preview

Meka may offer a limited free preview so you can evaluate the product before subscribing. The current preview is designed to include one first build and two follow-up edits. It is not a permanent free plan.

Meka may apply reasonable safeguards to prevent repeated exploitation of the free preview, including account, device, network, timing, and request-similarity checks. Availability of the free preview may be limited, paused, or withdrawn where necessary to protect the service.

3. Paid plans, usage limits and top-ups

Paid plans are offered on the pricing and checkout terms shown to you before purchase. Unless Meka expressly states otherwise, a subscription does not provide unlimited generation or compute. Paid plans may include a monthly build or usage allowance.

If optional additional usage or top-ups are available, Meka will show the applicable price and require your action before a separate purchase is made. Meka does not intend to impose undisclosed automatic top-up charges.

Taxes, billing intervals, renewal terms, cancellation rights, and any applicable refund rights will be shown at checkout or in the account area and are subject to mandatory consumer law where it applies.

4. Your projects and generated output

As between you and Meka, you retain your rights in the project materials you submit and in generated output to the extent those rights can legally belong to you. You are responsible for deciding whether generated output is suitable for your intended use.

You give Meka permission to process, store, transmit, and reproduce your project content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and provide the service, including generating and editing your applications and preserving project history and checkpoints.

5. AI-generated code and content

Meka uses AI systems to generate and modify application code and other output. AI-generated output can contain mistakes, omissions, insecure patterns, unexpected behavior, or material similar to content generated for other users.

You should review and test generated output before relying on it, publishing it, using it in production, or using it for sensitive, regulated, financial, medical, legal, safety-critical, or security-sensitive purposes.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Meka to:

• break the law or infringe another person's rights;
• introduce malware, malicious code, or harmful automation;
• probe, attack, overload, or interfere with Meka or its providers;
• evade usage, payment, access, or abuse-prevention controls;
• access another user's account, projects, or data without authorization;
• use Meka in a way that creates material security or operational risk.

7. Third-party services

Meka relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers, including providers for hosting, authentication, databases, source-code infrastructure, and AI generation. Some features may also connect to third-party products selected by you.

Meka is not responsible for independent third-party services, their availability, or their terms. Your use of those services may be subject to separate agreements with the relevant provider.

8. Project deletion and account data

Where project deletion is available, deleting a project removes the project and associated instructions and checkpoints from the active workspace. Certain limited records may be retained where necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.

Deleting a project does not reset free-preview or usage history where retaining that history is reasonably necessary to enforce fair-use limits.

9. Changes, availability and beta features

Meka is an evolving service. Features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or removed as the product develops. Preview, beta, experimental, or newly introduced features may be less reliable than mature features.

Meka does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Planned maintenance, provider outages, security events, capacity limits, or technical failures may temporarily affect access.

10. Suspension and termination

Meka may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address non-payment, abuse, security risk, unlawful use, circumvention of product limits, or a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate, Meka will try to provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

You may stop using Meka at any time. Any cancellation, renewal, access-after-cancellation, and account-deletion options available for paid plans will be described in the relevant account or billing flow.

11. Intellectual property in Meka

Meka's software, interface, branding, logo, product design, documentation, and other service materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of Meka itself or permission to use Meka's branding except as necessary to use the service.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Meka is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Meka does not warrant that generated output will be accurate, complete, secure, fit for a particular purpose, non-infringing, or free from defects.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Meka will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, any limitation will apply only to the maximum extent allowed by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law, without depriving you of mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence. If you are a consumer, you may also have rights to bring a claim before the courts or consumer-dispute bodies available under applicable law.

15. Changes to these Terms

Meka may update these Terms as the product, pricing, payment system, infrastructure, or legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page and the last-updated date will be revised. Where required by law, additional notice will be provided.

Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the contact channel made available in Meka. A formal service-operator name and contact details may be added as Meka's commercial launch structure is finalized.
